The VGP trains and matches volunteers who become the "Guardian of the Person Only" or substitute decision-maker for individuals with no money, or family support and whose ability to make personal & medical decisions has diminished.
Those served usually live in a nursing home.
It is the volunteer's goal to enhance the quality of life for the person they serve by advocating for the best possible daily & medical care.
Someone needs you.....because not everyone has someone.
The VGP also serves Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Licking & Pickaway Counties.
