Volunteers are the Heart of Hospice & Community Care!
"Hospice isn't about dying in the end. It's about living till the end." - HCC Volunteer
Looking for a unique and incredibly rewarding way to serve your local community and make a difference? Hospice & Community Care is currently seeking volunteers to help support our patients and families at the Bob Fryer and Family Inpatient Center in Mount Joy.
The Bob Fryer and Family Inpatient Center offers the hospitality of 24 private rooms and around-the-clock visitation in a home-like atmosphere. Inpatient Center Wing Volunteers provide comfort & care to patients and families by helping to prepare patient meals, keeping the kitchen clean and well-stocked, and providing one on one bedside presence and companionship to patients.
To become a Hospice & Community Care volunteer, you just need to have a compassionate heart and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Training is provided for all volunteers, with both in-person and online options offered throughout the year. A team of dedicated Volunteer Coordinators are available to provide continued support.
