Help ShareBaby quickly process donated items such as clothing and diapers to distribute to trusted community agencies and subsequently, into the hands of families with young children. ShareBaby is powered by the energy and passion of Volunteers who ensure that we can provide more items to help families meet the basic needs of their children. Tasks typically include quality checking and counting clothing and other donated items, counting, sorting, and wrapping diapers for distribution to families in need. We are currently welcoming individual volunteers or groups of 15 or less who must be at least 6 years old.
This is a fun volunteer opportunity for corporate teams, faith-based organizations, universities and schools, civic organizations, and families who just want to give back to others.
The warehouse is located in the Woodberry neighborhood in Baltimore and we are the first business you'll come to once you reach the warehouse collective. In case of inclement weather, we follow the Federal Government and Baltimore City Public Schools closure policies.
Please go directly to our website and click on "Sign Up Today" to find public volunteer opportunities for you or your group. If you are registering multiple people, you must add the contact information for everyone in your group so that they can receive the volunteer waiver and confirmation emails for your session. All children under the age of 18 must have parental consent and a signed waiver to volunteer in the warehouse.
*If you're interested in booking a corporate or civic group for a private session, there is a fee associated with that opportunity - you may contact volunteer@sharebaby.org if you have more questions.
