RMHOC Beer Fest: Volunteers Wanted!

Responsibilities as a Volunteer:

o Check in at the Volunteer Check In Station

o Hand out items (beer glasses/other promotional items as needed)

o Scan tickets using electronic scanning device

o Wristband attendees

o Pour beers from a tap (rare cases from a can)

o Minimal cleaning/disinfecting table tops during the event

o Carry/transporting items from one location to another (by hand or handcart if necessary)

Volunteer Shift:

3pm - 8pm

Perks of Volunteering: 1 meal and up to 2 OCSC game tickets for that night’s game

*You must request these tickets by email to stamayo@rmhcsc.org before game day/beerfest day and wait until after Beerfest to attend the game.

Requirements:

21+ years of age.

Flexible when asked to help with different tasks.

Able bodied, bending, stooping, lifting 5lbs - 15lbs.

Able to stand for ~5 hours

Description of the Event:

Local breweries give out tastings of their products. As a volunteer you’ll help pour beer, check wristbands, & hand out cups. The event is not open to the public. Each volunteer will be responsible for their given task. As a volunteer you’ll help keep

the event space clean and safe for everyone (pick up after yourself and others).

Purpose of the Event:

Beer Fest raises essential funds for Ronald McDonald House Orange County.

Your time and effort help us fulfill our mission: To provide comfort, care, and support to children and families dealing with serious illness.
