EVENT SUPPORT COORDINATOR

Description

Event Support Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of Young Mothers INC’s events and community programs. This role supports both virtual and in-person events, ensuring that logistics, communication, and follow-up activities run smoothly.

This role works closely with the Programs Team, Volunteers, and Communications to support quarterly events as well as smaller community engagements throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating organizational events
• Support the creation of event timelines and checklists
• Help coordinate volunteers and logistics
• Support communication with event participants
• Track attendance and collect feedback
• Assist with post-event follow-up and reporting

Requirements

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Interest in event planning, coordination, or nonprofit work
• Ability to multitask and adapt in fast-paced environments
• Reliable and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working both independently and with a team
• Able to commit a minimum of six hours a week working remotely
