Descripción
This opportunity assists our staff on the patient floors by helping with non-clinical tasks while spending face time with our patients. These volunteers are essential to our patient floors! Please Note: We do not have Cuddler positions.
Must be comfortable on patient care floor; must be considerate in relating to the needs of patients and visitors; must have successfully completed the hospital orientation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Check in on patients/visitors in their rooms; service excellence rounding.
- Assisting with meal ordering, answering questions and providing care items.
- Get refreshments and ice, take away meal trays, etc.
- Assist staff to prepare rooms for patients by stocking supplies, etc.
- Help make new patient room packs & admission folders.
- Support unit desk with answering call lights, answering phones and running department errands.
- Other duties as needed.
2 shifts available:
- Weekdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 09:00 to 13:00 CST
- Weekdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 13:00 to 17:00 CST
