Concert Setup Volunteers – Washington Chamber Orchestra

The Washington Chamber Orchestra is seeking volunteers to assist with concert setup for an upcoming orchestral performance in Columbia, Maryland - Christ Episcopal Church

Setup volunteers will help prepare the stage before the concert and assist with light teardown afterward.

Volunteer duties may include:

• Moving chairs and music stands onto the stage
• Assisting with basic stage setup
• Helping organize stage layout for the orchestra

Event Details

Date: Saturday, March 28, 2026

Volunteer arrival time: 4:30pm

Expected end time: 5:30pm

Concert starts: 7:30pm

Requirements

• Comfortable helping with light lifting and moving chairs or stands
• Able to follow instructions and work with a small team
• Reliable and able to arrive on time

Dress Code

Casual clothing is fine for setup volunteers.

As a thank-you, volunteers may receive two complimentary tickets for friends or family to attend the concert.
