Martin Luther King, Jr., Day of Service calls upon us to honor Dr. King and his legacy through service. Together, we can strengthen ties to our communities and one another while caring for important parks and public spaces.
Join us at Point Defiance Park this MLK Day of Service to improve areas along Roberts Garden Drive by creating new walking paths, spreading gravel, removing fallen debris from freshly pruned grasses, pruning shrubs to improve visibility, and adding mulch to protect plants in the cold months to come.
Your help will greatly enhance the park's beauty, improve plant health, and increase access to gardens by creating new walking paths in the park.
Parking will be available along Roberts Garden Dr. near the work site.
All tools, work gloves, and training will be provided.
