How many of your favorite childhood memories take place outside? We're betting a lot of them, because the natural world is the best place for young children to grow and learn. More and more science shows that young children need plenty of time spent in free play and gently guided nature connection in natural settings for optimal health, and that time spent indoors on screens is directly harmful to children's health. Our nature connection schools seek to provide space for that optimal development, and we need a strong Board to help advocate for them. Our first school is Growing Wild Forest School!

We're seeking individuals who are passionate advocates for children's outdoor play to be members of our Board. We welcome all ages, colors, genders, orientations, creeds, and nationalities. If you have one, some, or all of the qualities listed, please contact us to set up an interview.

We're looking for:

1. well-connected people with experience on nonprofit Boards;
2. environmental educators and/or activists;
3. early childhood educators;
4. academics in psychology, environmental science, or child development;
5. naturalists and/or people with primitive skills training;
6. PR experts;
7. accountants;
8. graphic designers;
9. web designers;
10. fundraisers;
11. event planners
