Are you a people person with a knack for leadership? Put your HR skills and passion for helping others to work with the American Red Cross! As a Disaster Action Team (DAT) volunteer, you’ll be on the front lines, providing compassionate support to individuals and families affected by disasters-from home fires to large-scale emergencies.
The Disaster Workforce Engagement team is expanding across North Texas and seeking individuals with experience in HR, team building, training, project management, disaster relief and community engagement.
This is a continuous volunteer opportunity, and you are able to set your availability to meet the needs of your schedule. Individuals and groups are welcome to join our team. If you are volunteering as a group, you will be able to serve in small groups.
Training Required
We offer virtual and in-person training for our Disaster Action Team.
How to Sign Up
Please visit "The Application Site" to start your application to become a Red Cross Volunteer. Our application can be completed in 15 minutes! Make sure to verify your phone number and email address, read and agree to Red Cross Policies. A member of our team will reach out shortly.
