Corporate Sponsorship Development Specialist Face Friends Foundation, Incorporated | Volunteer Executive Staff Remote / Asynchronous | 2–5 hours per week | Unpaid
About the Role
Face Friends Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building the Gwinnett International Workforce Academy — a community facility providing culinary, technology, and workforce training in Sugar Hill, Georgia. We are in an active capital sprint to place $150,000 in escrow by March 1, 2027, and we need someone who can close corporate sponsorship commitments to get us there.
This is not a research role. This is not a coordinator role. This is a closing role.
What You Will Do
- Conduct direct, personalized outreach to corporate giving managers, CSR directors, and workforce development leads
- Carry the foundation's corporate partnership prospectus into every conversation and advance interested prospects toward a commitment
- Leverage your own professional network to identify and warm up US-based corporate prospects
- Track every contact, response, and commitment in Bitrix24 within 24 hours of each interaction
- Own every prospect from first contact through a confirmed sponsorship commitment
What We Are Looking For
- Prior experience in B2B sales, corporate fundraising, nonprofit development, or sponsorship outreach
- Comfort making cold and warm contact with business decision-makers
- A professional network you are willing to activate for a mission you believe in
- US-based preferred; must have working knowledge of corporate giving in the American market
- Self-directed — you receive a brief and execute without hand-holding
What You Carry Into Every Conversation
A four-page Venture Philanthropy Prospectus outlining three corporate partnership tiers ($5,000 / $15,000 / $40,000+), projected community impact, and workforce development outcomes for Gwinnett County.
Incentives
Upon 30 days of verified active service, you receive a funded certificate seat in the Gwinnett International Workforce Academy — a $500+ value.
