Volunteer Lead – Leadership & Life Skills Development Pillar (AVET)

Apostolic Voice Education Trust (AVET) is a Christ-centered, volunteer-driven organization committed to empowering underprivileged communities through education, leadership development, discipleship, mental wellbeing, and community transformation across Africa.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Passionate Volunteer Lead for our Leadership & Life Skills Development Pillar. This role is responsible for guiding programs that develop youth leadership, life skills, resilience, and mental wellbeing, including training workshops, mentorship, and public speaking initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all programs under the Leadership & Life Skills Pillar

Mentor and guide Coordinators and volunteers

Plan and approve training sessions, workshops, and mentorship activities

Ensure programs align with AVET’s mission and Christ-centered values

Report progress and impact to the Founder / President

Represent the pillar in organizational meetings and discussions

Qualifications / Skills:

Passion for youth leadership and personal development

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication, organization, and public speaking skills

Experience in mentorship or coaching is a plus
