Oasis Literacy or Math Tutor - Make a Lasting Difference!

Help a child discover the joy of reading! Oasis Tutoring is seeking caring, dependable adults age 50+ to serve as volunteer literacy tutors in local elementary schools.

As an Oasis tutor, you'll work one-on-one with the same student for one hour each week throughout the school year, helping build reading skills, confidence, and a love of learning. No teaching experience is required—we provide comprehensive training, lesson materials, and ongoing support.

This is more than tutoring—it's an opportunity to become a trusted mentor and positive role model. Just one hour a week can have a lifelong impact on a child's academic success and self-confidence.

Volunteer Commitment:

• One hour per week during the school year

• Attend a free training before beginning
• Complete a background check
