ISO Gardener! Educator! Help Brooklyn schools build edible gardens

Seeds in the Middle is looking for passionate gardeners who can help our schools in Flatbush and Brownsville, Brooklyn, build their first gardens and/or help sustain school gardens.

Especially seeking help this summer - hours flexible.

Summer school runs Monday-Thursday until August 7th.

At one Flatbush elementary school, they want to build new garden beds and need help on weekday afternoons Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday anytime noon to 6 pm. Just email with days you can help.

At 2nd school, they need help with 5th graders early in the morning to expand their gardens.

At Brownsville school, they want to build a rooftop garden. This may start in fall. We also have a 3rd Flatbush school that needs support, probably late summer and fall.
