Volunteer Military Outreach

Time Commitment: Flexible, minimum 4-6 hours/month

Position Summary:

We are seeking passionate and motivated Volunteer Military Outreach Coordinators to serve as vital connectors between American Dream U and the military community. This role is ideal for individuals who want to give back, build relationships, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of transitioning service members and veterans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a local or virtual ambassador for American Dream U within the military community
• Build relationships with military bases, transition assistance programs (TAP), veteran organizations, and community leaders
• Promote awareness of American Dream U’s resources, events, and programs
• Coordinate and support on-base workshops, webinars, or information sessions
• Engage with service members through outreach calls, emails, or social media to share support resources
• Collect feedback and insights from military members to help shape and improve our programming
• Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to share best practices and maximize impact

Qualifications:

• Prior military experience, connection to the military community, or a strong desire to support service members
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable engaging with diverse individuals and building new relationships
• Passionate about personal development, education, or career coaching (preferred)
