Do you love animals and have a knack for creating engaging content? Join Dulce Vida Animal Rescue as a Social Media Manager and help us tell the stories of rescued pets, promote adoption, and grow our online community.
About Us:
Dulce Vida Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving California and Mexico. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome sick, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats. We also provide spay and neuter services through local clinic partnerships and promote responsible pet ownership within our communities.
Role Summary:
As our Social Media Manager, you will help raise awareness about our rescue efforts and inspire others to adopt, foster, volunteer, or donate. You will:
- Plan and schedule engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok
- Create and share updates about adoptable animals, rescue stories, and educational content
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages
- Help grow our follower base and increase visibility through strategic posting
What We're Looking For:
- Experience or strong interest in social media management
- Creativity and a passion for storytelling
- Understanding of platform trends and best practices
- Familiarity with Canva, scheduling tools, or video editing is a plus
