Do you sometimes wish you had someone to talk to and spend time with? Our patients are the same!

We are looking for compassionate people to join our team as Volunteers for hospice. A person in this role provides non-medical support to patients living with a terminal illness, as well as their families and caregivers. Volunteers have an opportunity to make a meaningful difference through impactful yet simple acts of kindness and connection.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Offering companionship and a listening ear.
• Engaging in social activities such as reading, playing games, or writing letters.
• Providing caregiver relief so family members can rest or run errands.
• Assisting with light household tasks, such as watering plants, walking pets, washing dishes, or emptying trash.

What to Expect:

• Volunteers enjoy the flexibility of creating their own schedules, with visits around an hour.
• No medical background is needed-our volunteers do not perform any medical or personal care tasks (e.g., giving baths, assisting with medication, or transferring patients).
