The Partnerships & Ecosystem Lead is responsible for building, structuring, and activating the network of institutions that power Foundher Ghana.
This role is not about outreach alone.
It is about converting relationships into tangible access for female founders—capital, markets, visibility, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Strategy & Architecture
- Define which partners matter (not everyone is relevant)
- Segment partners into:
- Anchor Partners (credibility + scale)
- Program Partners (execution support)
- Ecosystem Partners (reach + amplification)
- Design clear value exchange models for each category
- Ecosystem Building
- Map and maintain a live view of the Ghana ecosystem:
- Who holds capital
- Who controls distribution
- Who influences policy
- Build relationships beyond transactions
- Position Foundher Ghana as a central connector
Partner Acquisition
- Identify and engage high-value institutions:
- Corporates (banks, telcos, FMCGs)
- Foundations & development organizations
- VC firms, accelerators, and innovation hubs
- Lead targeted outreach (not mass pitching)
- Structure and close partnership agreements
Deal Structuring & Value Creation
- Translate partner interest into real offerings, such as:
- Funding opportunities
- Founder programs
- Market access channels
- Training or infrastructure support
- Ensure every partnership answers:“What does the founder tangibly gain?”
