ABOUT THE EVENT

The Golden Heart Rally for Warriors is a community pickleball tournament and fundraiser hosted by Golden Heart Cancer Support (GHCS), a Washington State 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The event raises funds and awareness to support cancer patients, caregivers, and families across Washington State — connecting them to critical resources through our statewide digital hub.

YOUR ROLE

We're looking for dedicated volunteers to help make this event a success. When you sign up, we'll connect with you to learn your strengths and match you to one of our volunteer teams:

• Event Operations: Court setup, check-in, player wayfinding, day-of logistics
• Silent Auction Support: Organize, display, and manage auction items and bidding
• Guest Experience: Welcome guests, assist sponsors/VIPs, manage information table
• Media & Outreach: Photography, live social media posting, on-site promotion

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

→ Enthusiastic, reliable, and mission-driven individuals

→ Available for the full event: May 2, 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM

→ Available for one brief virtual orientation call before the event

→ Comfortable in a fast-paced, community environment

→ Interest in cancer awareness, health equity, or community service

→ Pickleball knowledge is a bonus — but not required!

TIME COMMITMENT

Event Day: May 2, 2026 · 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM (includes setup and teardown)

Pre-Event Orientation: One 30-minute virtual call (mid-to-late April)

Total: Approximately 6–7 hours
