Are you passionate about supporting our nation's heroes and creating real change through K9 service dog training and community programs? Are you ready to give back locally while growing your leadership and deepening your connection to Rocklin, CA and surrounding areas?

RRUFF Healing Heroes is seeking dedicated individuals to join our volunteer Board of Directors for a 2 year term. This is more than just a board title - it's an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and contribute meaningfully. As a working board, you'll attend monthly in-person meetings, support local events, and serve on one of our engaged, hands-on committees.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who:

• Wants to grow their leadership through mission-aligned service
• Lives in or near Rocklin, CA
• Can commit to monthly board meetings and year-round event support
• Brings a collaborative spirit, a love for community, and a desire to contribute

As a board member, you'll also:

• Build strong connections with community leaders and civic partners
• Develop your experience in nonprofit strategy, fundraising, and programming
• Help guide life-changing K9 training programs that uplift veterans and first responders in need
• Participate in events that strengthen local impact and awareness
• Be part of a passionate team working to empower both people and pups through purpose

Current committee openings include:

• Healing Heroes (K9+community support programs)
• Dog Park Oversight
• Community Outreach
• Event Planning & Volunteer Engagement
• Finance, Governance, Volunteer Engagement
