Human Resources Manager

Opal’s Heart, Inc. is seeking a reliable and organized Volunteer Human Resources Manager to support recruitment, onboarding, volunteer staff administration, evaluations, documentation, engagement, and offboarding.

The HR Manager will review applicant materials and provide thoughtful candidate assessments and interview recommendations to the President & CEO, track onboarding and required documentation, maintain confidential volunteer staff records, assist with evaluations and staff check-ins, support HR policies and procedures, and help ensure consistent communication and follow-through throughout the volunteer staff experience.

The ideal candidate is professional, responsive, detail-oriented, comfortable handling confidential information, and able to work independently in a remote environment. Previous experience in human resources, recruiting, volunteer management, nonprofit administration, people operations, or a related field is preferred.

The HR Manager reports to the President & CEO/Founder. Final recruitment, appointment, disciplinary, and dismissal decisions remain with the President & CEO.

This is an unpaid, remote volunteer staff position with Opal’s Heart, Inc. Applicants must reside in the United States.
