Role Overview
We are seeking a Social Media Growth Manager to lead the strategy and growth of LoopRoots Foundation’s digital presence across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
This role is ideal for someone who understands how to turn meaningful stories into engaging content and is passionate about using social media to drive awareness, community engagement, and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a social media growth strategy across all platforms
Plan and manage a consistent content calendar
Work closely with the videographer and creative team to turn raw footage into high-performing content
Identify trends and adapt them to LoopRoots’ mission and voice
Optimize content for engagement, reach, and audience growth
Monitor analytics and adjust strategy based on performance
Engage with followers, comments, and messages to build community
Support campaigns related to fundraising, awareness, and program launches
What We’re Looking For
Experience managing or growing social media accounts (personal or professional)
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
Ability to identify trends and create engaging content strategies
Creative thinker with strong storytelling instincts
Organized and able to manage content planning independently
Passion for social impact, nonprofit work, or justice reform
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar tools
Experience working with nonprofits or mission-driven organizations
Basic understanding of analytics tools such as Instagram Insights or TikTok Analytics
Time Commitment
20 - 25 hours per week (flexible)
Compensation
This is a volunteer position as part of our early-stage build phase. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to take ownership of a key growth function and contribute to a mission-driven organization with national impact.
