Bring encouragement and creativity to pediatric patients through Cure Corps. Create mini stories and accompanying artwork designed to uplift pediatric patients. Please base your work on the following prompt:
“Write a short story or letter about a brave character, friendly animal, or kind hero who faces a small challenge or goes on a fun adventure. Show how they overcome the challenge, help someone, or do something courageous. End with a positive message for the reader, like ‘Remember, you are brave every day!’ You can also include a simple drawing to bring your story to life.”
Submission Requirements:
- Story: should be at least 6 sentences, but can be longer
- Tone: Encouraging, friendly, uplifting
- Art (optional): Simple, child-friendly drawings that match the story or letter (hand-drawn or digital)
- Format: Submit digitally (PDF, photo, or image file) by emailing to contactcurecorps@gmail.com
- Please NO use of AI
New volunteers can start by submitting a single story or art piece. After completing the first submission, you’ll have the option to officially join CureCorps to continue contributing to StoryBridge on a regular basis.

- Optional: Include a small piece of artwork to accompany your story. This can be a simple drawing, doodle, or illustration that matches your story. Hand-drawn or digital formats are both welcome.
- Format & Submission:

- Artwork: JPEG, PNG, or PDF

- Optional Step: Take a Photo of Yourself with Your Work
- We encourage volunteers to take a photo of themselves with their story or artwork before submitting to be featured on our social media. This is optional, but it’s a great way to:
- Showcase your impact: Your photo can highlight your contribution to a real nonprofit project, giving you a tangible way to demonstrate leadership, creativity, and community service.
- Gain recognition: With your permission, CureCorps may feature volunteer photos on our website or social media, giving your work visibility
- Enhance your portfolio or resume as evidence of your initiative and impact
