Volunteer Channel Captain

Overview

CollabED is seeking dedicated Volunteer Channel Captains to help support and strengthen our growing educator community. Channel Captains play a vital role in keeping our discussion spaces active, welcoming, and meaningful for educators at every stage of their careers.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain an engaging, supportive atmosphere within one designated topic channel (Elementary, Secondary, Wellness, Pre-Service, Classroom Management, etc.).
• Start conversations, respond to posts, and encourage member participation.
• Share relevant articles, prompts, or resources that align with the channel focus.
• Help identify trends, needs, or content gaps and communicate them to the CollabED leadership team.
• Welcome new members and model the collaborative, positive tone that defines our community.

Time Commitment

Approximately 1–2 hours per week, fully remote, flexible scheduling.
