Play Piano or Acoustic Guitar?

The University of Kansas Health System Hospice House (on the Olathe hospital campus) is a lovely, peaceful environment where our staff and volunteers care for hospice patients and their families. Would you bring the joy of music to us?

You'll be able to:

• Play a variety of complete songs for 30-60 minutes
• Provide your own music - song choices would be yours, with some limitations
• Choose volunteer shifts that fit your schedule
• Work independently - you won't be micromanaged
• Pianists - play piano in our hearth room for the enjoyment of families and visitors
• Guitarists - play guitar in our common areas and in patient rooms

You'll need to:

• Be 16 years of age or older
• Play for our volunteer coordinator who will determine if your playing style is the right fit for our hospice house
• Pass a background check and immunization process
• Complete a remote training
• Be responsible and committed - you'll need to be there when you're scheduled
• Be motivated to spread the joy of music to others!
