Overview / About this Role

Sevens & Circles — a grassroots volunteer collective in Los Angeles — is seeking compassionate volunteers to serve as Inmate Compassion Companions for individuals currently incarcerated in L.A. County facilities.

This role focuses on presence, listening, and dignity — offering human connection to those who often feel forgotten. Volunteers provide supportive conversation, guided reflection, and peaceful companionship in a safe, supervised environment.

No counseling or preaching — just pure compassion in action.

Training is provided in active listening, trauma awareness, and self-care.
