The Opportunity

Virtual Hospitals Africa is seeking a Volunteer Director of Marketing to help raise awareness, strengthen partnerships, and support fundraising efforts for this high-impact healthcare initiative.

This is a strategic leadership role for someone passionate about global health, social innovation, and nonprofit growth.

The Director of Marketing will guide the organization’s communications strategy, build our online presence, and help identify funding opportunities including grants and corporate partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee VHA’s marketing and communications strategy
• Help create a GoFundMe campaign to raise $25k toward a medical pilot in late 2026
• Lead social media campaigns to increase visibility and engagement
• Edit video footage targeting LinkedIn, Youtube, and our personal site
• Manage $10k/month nonprofit Google Ad spend
• Identify and canvass grant opportunities, philanthropic donors, and CSR funding sources
• Support donor communications and partnership materials
• Manage VHA’s digital presence, including social media channels and newsletters
• Promote VHA’s research collaborations, pilot programs, and public health initiatives
• Develop compelling messaging that communicates the impact of telehealth in underserved communities.

Skills & Experience

Commitment
