SEVA Travelers has partnered with GlobalGiving to identify great nonprofits in low- and middle-income countries. Together we have reached out to almost a thousand NGOs in the Global South about our suite of pro bono consulting services and the possibility of hosting a SEVA Traveler. Thanks to this exciting partnership, S.E.V.A. SEVA Travelers offers six host organizations to choose from in Ecuador, located across the culturally rich regions of Quito, Otavalo, Cuenca, and Samborondón. These placements provide volunteers with opportunities to contribute to initiatives focused on education, gender equality, community development, and social inclusion. Volunteers will collaborate with impactful nonprofits that are strengthening long-term organizational capacity through fundraising strategy, grant writing, donor engagement, and marketing development, all while experiencing Ecuador’s diverse landscapes and deep-rooted cultural heritage.

Fundación Camila Salomé – Quito
Focuses on improving access to education for children through sponsorships and community-based support programs. The organization seeks guidance in designing an effective fundraising strategy to expand donations and educational sponsorship opportunities.
Fundación para el Avance Social y Comunitario Ecuador (FUNASCE) – Otavalo
Dedicated to advancing social and community development through educational scholarships and partnerships. FUNASCE is looking to expand its scholarship network, improve collaboration with other organizations, and strengthen its public image to reach more beneficiaries.
Awaken Foundation – Quito
A grassroots nonprofit supporting Indigenous and rural communities in Ecuador through education, health, and sustainable livelihoods. Awaken seeks expertise in grant writing, fundraising strategy, and social media marketing to enhance visibility, diversify income, and strengthen long-term financial sustainability.
Mujeres que se Apoyan (MUSA) – Quito
A women-led organization promoting gender equality and social empowerment. MUSA seeks volunteer support to train staff in grant proposal writing, aiming to enhance funding access and ensure the sustainability of its cultural and social projects.
Fundación Crea Tu Espacio – Cuenca
Supports migrants, refugees, and vulnerable populations through social inclusion and empowerment programs. The foundation is seeking assistance in developing crowdfunding strategies and impactful fundraising projects to strengthen financial stability and outreach.
CrezcoNut – Samborondón
Works to improve child nutrition and development in Ecuador through education and community programs. CrezcoNut is looking for strategic guidance in donor engagement, storytelling, campaign design, and digital fundraising to build a stronger donor base and deepen impact.
