    Position Summary

    The Fundraising Specialist plays a central role in expanding Paraklet Inc.’s resource base by designing and executing fundraising strategies that support women’s economic leadership and youth empowerment programs. As Paraklet scales its operations and prepares for larger donor partnerships, this role strengthens donor engagement, builds fundraising campaigns, and ensures the organization is positioned for sustainable growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Fundraising Strategy Development — Design and implement fundraising strategies aligned with Paraklet’s mission, donor priorities, and organizational growth.
    • Donor Engagement — Cultivate relationships with individual donors, foundations, corporate partners, and community supporters.
    • Campaign Management — Lead digital and community‑based fundraising campaigns, including email outreach, social media drives, and event‑based fundraising.
    • Proposal & Pitch Support — Support the development of donor pitches, fundraising decks, and tailored outreach materials.
    • Partnership Development — Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with institutions, universities, INGOs, and private sector actors.
    • Donor Communication — Prepare donor updates, impact summaries, and stewardship communication that reinforce trust and transparency.
    • Fundraising Data & Tracking — Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, campaign performance, and fundraising pipelines.

    Qualifications

    • Required Skills — Strong communication and relationship‑building skills; experience with fundraising or donor engagement; ability to design and execute campaigns; strong writing and presentation abilities.
    • Preferred Skills — Experience with nonprofit fundraising; familiarity with donor databases; understanding of women’s economic empowerment; French or Swahili proficiency.

    Time Commitment

    Flexible, typically 5–10 hours per week for volunteers;
