Social Media Editor For Positive Change

The Lovepost is seeking a volunteer, remote social media editor to help curate, manage and grow our social channels.

The social media editor will have a passion for social justice storytelling and a history of successfully implementing impactful messaging across social media channels.

Responsibilities

• Building and implementing a social media strategy to help grow The Lovepost’s social channels.
• Working with our video editor and graphic designer to create exciting content for posts, stories, reels and IGTV.
• Creating and maintaining a social media calendar.
• Repurposing content from our platform for social channels.

The ideal candidate has

• Some experience in a social media content creation role.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• The ability to write smart, snappy social copy with impeccable judgment and an eye for sensitivity and inclusivity.
• The ability to identify topics that address existing social and environmental issues.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
