Hospice Veteran to Veteran Volunteer!

Join a team of compassionate volunteers who are a part of the We Honor Veterans Program, sharing your time and talents to support hospice patients and their families. You’ll receive training and orientation to help you feel confident and comfortable.

BAYADA Hospice is looking for caring, compassionate and reliable Military Veteran Volunteers to join our team!

BAYADA at Inspira Hospice is a part of the nationally accredited organization We Honor Veterans. Volunteering with our amazing team will give you the chance to give back to the heroes that proudly fought before you.

• *We also encourage volunteering with non-veterans as well.

Support our patients and their families by offering a warm presence and a helping hand.

• Be together and be there for patient and family
• Going over life reflection
• Sit with patients to read/watch something on TV/play games
• Take a patient out for a short walk
• Keep a patient company while caregivers take a break
• Share your specialized skills including reiki, massage, pastoral care, and cosmetology
• Creating memory/photo book
