Social Media Coordinator Needed for a Youth Led Animal Welfare Initiative

We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media & Communications Board Member to join our leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing UVFA’s communications strategy, shaping our message, and ensuring our mission reaches a wide audience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow UVFA’s presence across Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
• Develop engaging content (posts, stories, videos, campaigns) that highlight UVFA’s work and mission.
• Collaborate with city leads and volunteers to showcase local initiatives and events.
• Create clear, inspiring messaging for campaigns, newsletters, and outreach materials.
• Brainstorm and launch digital campaigns to recruit volunteers and fundraise for shelters.

• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Experience with social media management (personal or organizational).
• Creativity and enthusiasm for animal welfare.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a youth-led team.
