Descripción
Each volunteer opportunity is unique and varies depending on the needs of the patient and family as well as the volunteer’s availability and interests. Patient care may include providing companionship through conversation, reading aloud, reminiscing, watching movies or television, or holding a hand. Other duties help alleviate stress for the caregiver such as running errands like grocery shopping and trips to the pharmacy, light housekeeping or meal preparation.
