Help Save Lives Every Tuesdays in San Rafael!

Vitalant is seeking a dedicated volunteer to help support our weekly blood drive at:

Marin Bible Church Gym (formerly Valley Baptist)

10 Sequoia Road, San Rafael, CA 94903

Thursdays from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Our organization is committed to providing lifesaving blood products to local hospitals, helping patients undergoing cancer treatment, surgeries, and emergencies. Volunteers play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our donors.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Welcome and check in donors

• Provide friendly communication and donor assistance

• Explain the donation process and answer general questions

• Help set up and maintain a clean, inviting environment

• Restock the hospitality area and encourage post-donation hydration

• Support staff with reminder calls and donor follow-up as needed

Qualifications:

• Age 16 or older

• Able to pass a Criminal Background Check

• Commit to a minimum of 50 volunteer hours per year

• Attend a Virtual Vitalant Volunteer Orientation

Whether you're retired, a student, or simply have a few hours to give, your time can help save lives and support your community. A consistent, weekly presence is especially helpful-though we welcome flexibility and can work with your availability.
