“When I Grow Up” is an engaging college and career exploration activity designed for elementary-aged students. Volunteers will help introduce students to different careers, professions, and future opportunities through interactive conversations, hands-on activities, storytelling, and mentorship.
Volunteers may share information about their career journey, educational background, daily responsibilities, and skills related to their profession in a fun and age-appropriate way. The goal is to encourage students to dream big, explore their interests, and begin thinking positively about their future.
Responsibilities may include:
- Engaging with students in group discussions and activities
- Supporting hands-on learning experiences
- Encouraging participation and curiosity
- Serving as a positive role model
