Communications & Outreach Volunteer

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate volunteer to help expand our community impact through outreach and communication. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, creating engaging content, and making a difference in the lives of children and families.

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Make friendly outreach and follow-up phone calls to community organizations, partners, and potential supporters.
• Manage our Constant Contact email marketing platform.
• Create and schedule email newsletters and announcements.
• Develop engaging content for campaigns, events, and fundraising initiatives.
• Assist with social media content planning and promotion.
• Maintain an organized communication calendar.
• Work closely with the Executive Director to ensure messaging aligns with our mission.

Preferred Qualifications

• Friendly and professional phone etiquette.
• Experience with Constant Contact or willingness to learn.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Passion for serving children and families.

Time Commitment

• Flexible schedule
• Approximately 5–10 hours per week
• Remote position with occasional virtual meetings
