Visiting Volunteer Hospice - Brown, Outagamie, Winnebago, Fond Du Lac Counties

Are you a veteran, retired, a couple or individual looking to do something meaningful with your spare time? Are you and your siblings, son/daughter, or friend looking to spend quality time with someone special? Do you have a pet who is certified? If this describes you, Preceptor Hospice has an opportunity for you to become a hospice volunteer. Become part of a team that provides care and compassion to patients during their final life journey.

As a hospice volunteer, you will become trained to visit with hospice patients. You do not need any experience. This is how you can help. Be willing to share your time on your schedule. Play games, read, listen to stories, Listen when they talk about time in the military, their career, family, and hobbies. Join them in card games, help them write letters. Provide comfort, support and presence.
