Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Recruiting Director to lead and scale our global talent acquisition efforts. This role is responsible for developing and executing innovative recruiting strategies that attract exceptional talent across multiple functions and regions. The ideal candidate will build strong talent pipelines, elevate the candidate experience, and partner closely with organizational leaders to ensure workforce growth aligns with mission and business objectives.

This is a volunteer opportunity requiring about 10 hours per week. Build a large international team and own recruitment for a mission driven growing non-profit that does good.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global recruiting strategy.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for leadership and critical roles.
• Build talent pipelines across diverse geographic regions.
• Establish recruiting metrics and reporting frameworks.
• Strengthen branding and candidate engagement.
• Partner with hiring leaders to forecast talent needs.
• Implement best practices in sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
• Mentor and develop recruiting team members and volunteers.

Key Qualifications

• Significant experience in talent acquisition, recruiting leadership, or workforce planning.
• Strong understanding of global hiring practices and talent markets.
• Experience building scalable recruiting processes and systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

All roles at The Sentinel are volunteer roles. This role will help build and enhance university sourcing approaches, scour reddit, discord, and other social media sites to source people, and build our online presence, and help us drive internal referrals.
