Partnerships & Outreach Coordinator

AfroSabor is seeking a volunteer Partnerships & Outreach Coordinator to help build relationships with aligned organizations, venues, artists, universities, and community groups across New York City.

AfroSabor is a Black-centered Afro-Latin cultural organization focused on creating spaces for connection, belonging, and cultural expression through dance and community experiences.

This role supports AfroSabor’s growth through collaboration and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Research potential partners and collaborators
• Support outreach to venues, organizations, and community groups
• Help coordinate cross-promotions and collaborations
• Track outreach conversations and follow-ups
• Assist with sponsorship and partnership communications

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and proactive
• Comfortable networking and relationship-building
• Interest in arts, culture, community-building, or event programming
• Ability to commit approximately 3–5 hours per week
