Stove To Table - Kitchen Volunteers Needed

Advance's Stove to Table program delivers healthy, made from scratch meals for seniors living in subsidized housing in Maricopa County. This population experiences disproportionately high levels of food insecurity and chronic illness and our hot, fresh meals go a long way to help ease this burden and improve their quality of life.

Each week we prepare and individually package 360 meals for delivery in our kitchen. We rely on volunteers to help us prepare large quantities of ingredients, fresh fruits, and vegetables; as well as package meals and clean the kitchen at the end of a meal. There are four shifts available each Tuesday and Wednesday. Volunteers are welcome to stay for one or more shifts as their schedule allows.

Shifts available are Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. Check the website for availability:

• Meal Prep - 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Packaging & Clean up - 12:00 PM to 2:30PM

We ask that you come dressed to work in a kitchen; please no open toed shoes. Volunteers 16+ are welcome with a parent or guardian.
