Volunteer Advisory Council Board Member

Are you a leader in your community? Do you enjoy sharing community happenings with your friends, neighbors, and your professional network? AmeriCorps Senior Volunteer Program/Retired Senior Volunteer Program is a 55+ volunteer program within the Warren County area. RSVP is looking for volunteer LEADERS who wish to join our RSVP Advisory Council. The roles and the responsibilities of a RSVP Advisory Council member position include:

Visit RSVP volunteer sites annually.

Help with short and long term planning of the RSVP program.

Help attract new members to the RSVP Advisory Council, be at outreach events to encourage anyone 55+ to join RSVP to learn where to go volunteer in their community, develop new volunteer sites who would like to partner with AmeriCorps/RSVP program.

Work with RSVP project director and the RSVP project coordinator to conduct an annual program evaluation that is submitted to AmeriCorps.

Help project director with seeking possible funding sources for the RSVP program.
