FFF>50 is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to create local communities, both online and in-person, where older women connect to support each other in creating value, purpose, fun, and fulfillment in their second act.
As the community lead for the Chicago chapter, it will be your role to create casual in-person gatherings for our Chicago area members, to welcome new members, and to encourage existing members to create their own events. As the chapter is new, and without many members, you will also be expected to meet with our experienced community leads, who will share the methods they used to grow their chapters.
Although you learned about us through Idealist, you will fit our member demographics by being a woman aged 50 or more (or close to it), and will become a valued member of our sisterhood, inline with our mission.
A community leader hosts in-person events in her town and encourages her members to do so. Leading a local chapter can fill your life with fun, friends, and purpose just when you may be wondering what your next act will be. No experience needed. The only prerequisites are a being computer-literate, having a warm smile, a welcoming nature, and a desire to connect.
