🎯 Position Overview
Youth Programs Specialists will play a vital role in designing, coordinating, and delivering engaging programs for students in grades K–12. Working closely with parents, school districts, volunteers, and community partners, this team will inspire young learners to explore STEM, build financial literacy skills, and grow as responsible, community-minded citizens.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Program Design & Development
- Collaborate with team members to create innovative, age-appropriate STEM and financial literacy activities.
- Develop lesson plans, workshops, and competition prep materials.
- Community Engagement
- Partner with parents, teachers, and school districts to align programs with student needs.
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor for youth participants.
- Program Delivery
- Facilitate interactive sessions, workshops, and events for K5–12 students.
- Support students in preparing for academic STEM competitions.
- Collaboration & Teamwork
- Work alongside other volunteers and staff to ensure smooth program execution.
- Share ideas, feedback, and best practices to continuously improve programming.
✅ Qualifications
- Passion for teaching, youth development, education, and community service.
- Interest or background in STEM, financial literacy, or civic engagement.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Creativity, flexibility, and enthusiasm for working with diverse groups of students.
- Prior teaching, mentoring, or program facilitation experience (preferred but not required).
