Hospice Volunteer

Are you a good listener? Are you dependable? Do you have a desire to help others? If so, you can be a hospice volunteer. Volunteers provide emotional support, companionship, comfort, and respite to our patients and families. We accept volunteers under many categories to include administrative, bereavement, direct patient care, massage therapy, reiki and pet therapy.

Some examples of volunteer duties are:

• Providing companionship to a patient and their family
• Being a comforting and supportive presence
• Providing respite time for the patient's caregiver
• Running errands or doing light housekeeping for the patient & family
• Office/Bereavement support
