Social Media Assistant

The Humble Heroes of FDNY, a volunteer nonprofit organization where first responders dress as superheroes to visit children in hospitals and special needs schools, is seeking a Social Media Assistant to support our mission of bringing joy and hope to young patients and their families.

The volunteer will assist, under the guidance of our social media manager, with creating and posting engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X/Twitter), help document visits and events, develop campaign ideas to grow awareness, and track engagement analytics. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit communications and storytelling while helping share the heartwarming impact of real-life heroes giving back to the community.
