Hospice Volunteer, We Honor Veterans Program, Veteran Volunteer

Gentiva Hospice’s Team is currently searching for a Veteran Volunteer to participate in honoring and supporting fellow Veterans during their end of life journey in the Altoona area. There are numerous volunteer opportunities whether it be providing a visit once a month to a Veteran for companionship or honoring Veterans in a nursing home by presenting awards during an honor ceremony. Depending on your skillset, interests, and availability, we can tailor the Volunteer role exactly to you! Our goal is to meet all the needs of our Nations Heroes and Veteran Volunteers are an essential part in meeting those needs. There is no advanced medical training required, just a willingness to give back! We would love to have you as apart of the team!
