    Descripción

    A Hospice Reiki or Healing Touch Volunteer

    Volunteer with the nation's largest provider of Hospice Care and join a team of caring individuals. We are looking for volunteers to help improve the quality of life of terminally ill patients by providing the following: Reiki or Healing Touch. Reiki or Healing Touch certification required but not provided by VITAS.

    All volunteers are required to attend a 1 hr Zoom AND a comprehensive in-person orientation to gain the knowledge you will need to work with terminally ill patients. TB screening and background check are also required and are provided by VITAS. Zoom orientation held 3x per month and in-person every other month.

    Our next in-person orientation is:

    Saturday, January 11th from 8:30 am - 4 pm

    Orientation is held at our office located at:

    9655 Granite Ridge Dr. Ste. 300

    San Diego, CA 92123

    Continental breakfast and lunch provided.

    There is also an option to complete orientation a via Zoom and self-study combination.
