Veteran to Veteran Volunteer Opportunity

Are you a U.S. Military Veteran or actively serving member looking to continue your mission of service? Many veterans facing illness, isolation, or the end of life find it difficult to open up to civilians about their experiences. They speak a distinct language and share a culture that only another veteran truly understands. As a Vet-to-Vet Volunteer, you will use your shared background to build trust, provide camaraderie, and offer a safe space for reflection and healing.

Opportunities include but are not limited to:

• Offering emotional support and companionship
• Navigating VA benefits
• Participating in Veterans Cafe
• Providing respite care for family caregivers.

We seek veterans with empathy, patience, and a caring nature who can maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy. Volunteers must be willing to undergo training and background checks.
