Do you speak Spanish or another language? We have hospice patients from many different cultures and countries who would love to hear their native language on difficult days.

Compassionate Care Hospice in Bloomfield is searching for a Spanish or other language speaking volunteer to visit with some of our patients from other countries. It is so comforting for our patients to be able to be with someone who speaks their language and understands their culture during a dark time in their lives. The connection these patients feel cannot be underestimated. It is like a ray of sunshine for their day.

There is an onboarding process that includes paperwork, a background check using your driver's license and a TB test that we pay for. We have training so you will feel at ease and relaxed while you connect with the patient.
