Director of Business Development

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to serve as the Volunteer Director of Business Development at EKW Foundation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and relationships of our organization through strategic partnerships, fundraising initiatives, and donor engagement efforts. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need while gaining valuable experience in the non-profit sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, government agencies, and other non-profit organizations to support EKW Foundation's mission and programs.
• Lead the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns, events, and activities to secure financial support for EKW Foundation's projects and operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, major donors, and corporate sponsors to maximize donor retention and contributions.
• Collaborate with the communications team to develop marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and branding strategies to increase visibility and awareness of EKW Foundation's work.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan, with a focus on business development and growth opportunities.
• Work closely with other members of the leadership team and volunteers to coordinate efforts, share best practices, and achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in business development, fundraising, or related fields preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for social impact and a commitment to EKW Foundation's mission and values.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with fundraising software/tools is a plus.
